      1. Taylor Hall (The Union)

Taylor Hall, part of the Union complex, offers meeting and conference facilities for student groups. It also houses the ever-popular Taylor Down Under, which bills itself as the campus playground because it features a stage for student performances, a coffee bar and billiard tables. The facility was named for Dr. James H. Taylor, Jr., former Lynchburg assistant superintendent of schools and a former member and rector of the JMU Board of Visitors.

        Study Spaces/Computer Labs:

Many of the meeting rooms in Taylor Hall are unlocked and available as quiet study spaces when they are not reserved – just be sure to check the room schedule for upcoming events and respect the spaces. Taylor Down Under (TDU) offers a variety of seating options, a pay-to-print kiosk, and two computers, supported by JMU IT. TDU is often open 24/7. Whether you’re looking for a quiet study space or an active place to get some work done, you can probably find it in Taylor Hall.
