      1. Student Success Center

The Student Success Center, or SSC, is designed to help students become more efficient, effective and engaged learners by challenging and supporting students, providing methods for collaborative learning, aiding inquiry and discovery, and providing advising and consulting for all areas of life.

The five-story building houses many different offices dedicated to student success. Some of these offices include the University Health Center, the Counseling Center, the Learning Centers, the Office of Disability Services, the University Career Center, Financial Aid and Scholarships, and the Office of the Registrar.

        Study Spaces:

Come check out all the SSC has to offer! Feel free to wander all five floors and find your favorite place to study. You'll find booths for groups, study tables for individual use, and even soft seating that can be used to relax and unwind. The suite in the Community Engagement & Volunteer Center on the 2nd floor is available for studying anytime. Private study spaces for individuals or small groups are available in the University Career Center, on the 3rd floor, during business hours (reservations are encouraged, drop-ins are welcome if space permits). If your small group is looking to study together, reserve one of the SSC's two Group Study Rooms. Stop by the Guest Services Desk or call (540) 568-7747 to reserve one of the SSC group study rooms.
