Commencement Ceremony
Celebrate the Class of 2025 and the awarding of honorary degrees. James C. Chambers ’81, chair of the Board of Trustees of Bard College, presiding, and The Right Reverend Matthew F. Heyd, officiating. Seating is first-come, first-served beginning at 1 pm when the tent opens. There is seating for graduates, visitors, and a well-marked accessibility seating area (preregistration required). To maintain the safety of everyone in the tent, all aisles must remain clear once the ceremony begins. Genesee Photos will be on hand to take professional photos, which can be purchased online after Commencement.For safety reasons, standing in the aisle is prohibited during the ceremony.
Commencement Tent, Seth Goldfine Memorial Field
The Commencement Tent is located on the Seth Goldfine Memorial Rugby Field behind Kline Commons Dining Hall. Accessible parking, ramps, elevators, and seating are available.
