About
Hedrick Hall is located in Hedrick Court and is one of the four classic residential buildings on campus with double and triple room types in a high-rise experience. Hedrick Hall features community bathrooms with 4-6 shower stalls, toilets and sinks, as well as study lounges on every floor. The communal laundry room is located on the ground floor as well as a 24-hour front desk, study and meeting rooms, and music practice rooms. Aside from the study lounges, Hedrick Hall also offers large social lounges where students can enjoy different programs put on throughout the year. Although the building does not have air conditioning, nice breezes off the ocean that is only 5 miles away, help keep temps cooler.
Every room is furnished with a bed (twin XL), desk, and dresser (both closet and drawer space) for each resident.
Hedrick Hall has LEED Gold Certification for Commercial Interiors. Hedrick Hall is named after Earle Raymond Hedrick, vice president and provost of UCLA from 1937 until his retirement in 1942.
