Gifford Practice Complex
Jack and Rhodine Gifford have been generous supporters of UCLA Athletics, particularly to the golf programs. Their lead donation made possible UCLAs on-campus practice facility, known as The Giff. In addition, the Gifford Foundation has sponsored the Gifford Collegiate tournament, a staple on the mens golf schedule. The late Mr. Gifford was a 1960-61 UCLA baseball letterman. The views of the facility show the team room and tee boxes to the west, as players hit south toward Pauley Pavilion. The shrubbery in front of the facility spells out UCLA GOLF.
