      1. Velarde Center for Philanthropy (VCFP)

         On January 12, 2026, the UNM Foundation began construction of the Velarde Center for Philanthropy (VCFP) at the southeast corner of Lomas and Yale. The new facility will house Foundation operations and serve as a hub to advance the culture of philanthropy at The University of New Mexico.

         Construction is scheduled for completion by summer 2027.
