First Year Residence
Embodying the essential characteristics of the WPI experience, Institute Hall offers a small, close-knit, and friendly coed community. The complex is home to about 90 students on four floors and includes singles, doubles, triples, and quads. The lower level features a cozy study lounge with a flat-screen TV and a laundry room. The building is located a brisk walk from the center of campus and a stone's throw from the Goat's Head restaurant and the campus convenience store. Institute Hall is also home to the WPI Wellness Community, a community of students who commit to keeping wellness a priority and abstaining from the use of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
