The Jeremy D. Brown Human Services Building, which houses Edinboro's award-winning Nursing program and our Communication Sciences & Disorders department. Housed on the first-floor are three high-fidelity human patient simulator rooms: a maternity suite, a pediatrics room and an adult medical and surgical room.
Designed to replicate an actual hospital experience, each lab contains human-patient simulators with anatomical features that simulate many human functions.
The Human Services Building also houses the Gov. George Leader Speech and Hearing Center, a supervised training environment for clinical services, including observation, screening, assessment, counseling and therapeutic intervention for communication problems and swallowing disorders.
