THINGS TO SEE
Jesse Treviño is a world-renowned artist and a 1974 graduate of OLLU. His works can be found in the Smithsonian American Art Museum and are featured prominently in the San Antonio community.
- "La Historia Chicana" is was one Treviño's first large-scale murals. It is located in OLLU's library and was finished in 1974 as a tribute for the Mexican-American Student Association.
- "La Veladora of Our Lady of Guadalupe" is on the exterior of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (1301 Guadalupe St, San Antonio, Texas 78207). It is a ceramic mural featuring a three-dimensional votive candle with an eternal flame
- "The Spirit of Healing" is an eight-story ceramic mural on the facade of the Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital (the mural is on the Houston Street side of the hospital which is located at 333 N. Santa Rosa St. San Antonio, Texas 78207). It features an angel watching over a child.
- "La Feria" is a ceramic mural in Concho Plaza at the Historic Market Square (514 W. Commerce, San Antonio, Texas 78207). It depicts a life in San Antonio.
