        Equipped with cutting edge technology, sophisticated patient simulation labs, and state-of-the-art classrooms, the Center for Health Education enables nursing and radiolgoic technology students to develop clinical decision-making proficiencies, refine technical skills, practice assessment techniques, and gain competency in recognizing and preventing common medical errors.

        This center significantly expanded the college's capability to educate students in nursing and radiologic technology by 25-30%, and promotes diversity in the student body through innovative linkages with the local health care industry. Specially designed classrooms and a state-of-the-art X-ray room prepares students for their offsite clinical rotations by allowing them to train using the latest equipment and computer technology.

        The center's location on Jarvis Ave. in Holyoke allows students and faculty to work more closely with the surrounding community, including immunization clinics for Sullivan Elementary School, diabetes and wellness workshops for residents of Beaudoin Village, gerontology internships with the Loomis Village nursing home, and increased interaction with the nearby Holyoke Soldiers Home.
