In 2003 the campus was graced with the Bracewell Clock Tower, located at the center of campus. The Clock Tower is the center of many traditions and activities, including Silver Taps, one of our most important and solemn traditions.
The tower replaced the original Texas Clipper anchor, which now rests outside of the Jack K. Williams Library.
Every hour, the official war hymn of Texas A&M, "The Aggie War Hymn," chimes from the Clock Tower.
Surrounding the Clock Tower are bricks which can be purchased and engraved with the proceeds providing funds for the William C. Hearn Student Development Endowment.
