Campus Police
Welcome to the Irvine Valley College Campus Police Department:
The Irvine Valley College Campus Police Department is a service-oriented agency. The department is staffed by fully sworn peace officers, trained and regulated by standards established by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission. The officers have the same authority as a municipal police officer or county sheriff’s deputy.
Campus Police officers are responsible for patrolling campus grounds, taking crime and incident reports, conducting investigations, enforcing all applicable laws, traffic regulations and providing a safe environment for our students, faculty, staff and guests. In addition, Campus Police officers will provide assistance in starting vehicles with dead batteries and help on-campus motorists in obtaining lockout or other assistance.
Campus Police is next to Lot 8 and the baseball field. Thirty-minute parking is available in front of the Police Station.
