Built in 1967. Renovations in 2010.
One of multiple campus buildings designed by prominent 20th century architect Minoru Yamasaki, Watson is the tallest building on campus at seven stories—plus a spacious basement with foosball, ping pong, and study rooms. Its upper floors have beautiful views of campus extending all the way across the river to St. Olaf. The beauty extends behind the building as well, as Carleton’s serene Japanese Garden sits directly out Watson’s back doors.
