Hill of Three Oaks
With a fire pit and picnic tables, Hill of Three Oaks is a popular social gathering spot on campus. Its proximity to the Rec and its surrounding fields also means a great view when it comes time for Spring Concert in May! Interestingly, the number of oak trees on the hill has not been as consistent through the years as the name would suggest. In the summer of 1987, a heavy storm destroyed one of the Burrow Oak trees, which prompted the grounds crew to point out that, prior to the storm, there had actually been four oaks on the hill.
