301 Winona Street North and 510 Goodsell Circle

Renovations in 2020
Originally the home of Carleton’s science department, Laird also housed the college’s dental service, where students could go to receive dental care, from 1930 to 1950. The service was shut down when its sole dentist retired to take the rank of “emeritus professor of dental hygiene.” All sorts of departments and divisions call Laird home now—and due to recent renovations, it’s a very comfortable one! Even with modern additions, the architectural details throughout the inside and outside of the building keep Laird’s interest and charm intact.
