        1. Gabbin Hall

          Gabbin Hall is named in honor of faculty members Drs. Joanne V. and Alexander Gabbin, professors at JMU for more than 35 years. It was the university's first academic and administrative building and one of two buildings built and ready for the first class that matriculated. Originally it housed classrooms, lecture rooms, President Burruss' office, the library, a music room and the registrar's office.

          Accessible Parking: A lot (a magnetic gate permit, available from Parking Services, is required during business hours)

          Accessible Entrance:  Back entrance is zero-entry with an automatic door
