            1. Bur Oak #23 - In memory of Susie Strzelec Buda

               In memory of Susie Strzelec Buda, a fierce advocate for UT Dallas in the Texas Legislature. Susie worked for several key legislators and committees from 2006 to 2019 and significantly contributed to the trajectory of UT Dallas. Her efforts helped to set up the mechanism to fund the Student Services Building (SSB), which this tree overlooks. Tree gifted by Amanda and Jeff Rockow.
