Located in Smith Hall, the Alabama Museum of Natural History exhibits show off Alabama’s rich natural history, including fossil tracks, skulls and skeletons, a Basilosaurus cetoides — the state fossil of Alabama — and rocks and minerals. The museum hosts family-friendly events, as well as summer trips and camps.
