      1. Sheldon Hall

Named after Edward A. Sheldon, a leader in the 19th-century normal school movement and founder of the Oswego Training School in New York, Sheldon Hall was built as a residence hall. When the 120 students had all moved in, it marked the first time in school history housing was available to the entire student body.

Sheldon currently houses administrative offices, including those of Academic Affairs, Academic Student Services and Engagement, as well as the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

The room on the right can seat 7 and contains a chalkboard and a small table. There is also one desk and chair at the top of the staircase that students may use.
