The University Police Department (SUPD) is the hub for campus safety, providing non-emergency and emergency public safety services across campus. Nearly 30 staff members work in enforcement, evidence and dispatching. Students can receive a copy of their own fingerprints to be submitted for various things such as background checks during walk-in hours. Special access is required to get in other areas, but there is a large conference room for various meetings as well as offices and interview rooms. A large, double garage bay is used for patrol cars. This space is also used for various officer training sessions.
