    1. Mikionele Way

      Mikionele is the Hawaiian word for missionary. The road that goes through the back end of campus, near the hales, through the makai side of the Temple View Apartments and out toward Naniloa Loop, is name in reference to the missionaries who came to Hawaii to bring the gospel as well as the service and labor missionaries that traveled to Laie to build it's original buildings.
