This facility’s large, open floor plan is a place to make and iterate again and again, allowing students to work individually or at times in collaboration. In this building (SCSD), students learn and understand the foundations of good design: they learn about the principles of design and the visual element as part of its first-year curriculum. The School of Design sets a platform for progression in various stages within 2D and 3D work, from concept to completion, for students interested in pursuing majors in architecture, graphic design, interior design, landscape architecture and studio art.
