Greater Amboseli Ecosystem Lion Protection
Organization: Big Life Foundation
Working with local communities, Big Life created an innovative two-pronged Predator Protection Program which replaced conflict and retaliation with education and coexistence. The program is successfully contributing to the dramatic decline of lion killings, and as a result, the ecosystem contains one of the few growing lion populations in Africa.
