         Organization: Dyer Island Conservation Trust
         
         Actively intervening in the decline of African penguin populations with an artificial nest project, helping chicks grow big and strong, and with the rescue, rehabilitation and release of compromised African penguins. The project provides a platform for new research that can influence conservation policies, and plays a key role in educating the broader public about the plight of the African penguin.
