Origin: Native to moist wooded areas in the southeastern United States from North Carolina to Florida and Texas
Fun Fact: This tree is a much smaller and slower-growing cultivar of the Southern Magnolia. Where southern Magnolia trees can grow up to sixty feet tall, the Little Gem Magnolia will only grow between twelve and twenty-five feet tall.
