The ESF Office of Physical Plant & Facilities supports the mission and aspirations of the college by maintaining a physical environment in which teaching, research, and service to the community can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Physical Plant & Facilities, by example, reinforces the role of the college as a leader in environmental education and practice by providing essential and environmentally-considerate programs and services in areas such as building maintenance and operations, facilities planning, custodial services, energy management, grounds and landscaping, vehicle fleet management, trash removal, recycling, mail services, and shipping and receiving. These services are provided to the main Syracuse campus, as well as to the colleges’ satellite properties.
The Physical Plant & Facilities office further supports the mission of the college by monitoring efficient use and management of college property, offering telecommunication/network wiring and cabling support, and assisting with special events on campus.
