Named in honor of Clyde P. Shorts, former professor of education, Shorts Hall is a residence hall located in the Lake Area of campus. Shorts Hall was the first building on campus built to house men and was the inaugural building on what would become the Lake area of the campus.
Shorts Hall is comprised of four wings where there are six double rooms per wing and each wing shares a common lounge. The two wings share a bath, which is cleaned by housekeeping staff on a regular basis.
