The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts is an 80,000 square-foot structure built to resemble the inclined look of the local copper mine hoists and shaft houses. The building includes a main stage, art gallery, recital facilities, ticketing office, concessions stand, practice rooms, dressing rooms, a scene shop (for constructing stage elements), classrooms (including recording facilities and a computer-assisted music instruction lab), conference rooms, and offices. The main theater seats 1,067.
Instructional facilities for the Department of Visual and Performing Arts are also in the Rozsa Center and include:
- recording facilities
- a computer-assisted music instruction lab
- theater shops
- choral and instrumental rehearsal rooms
