Steam Plant
One of the six remaining original campus buildings, the Steam Plant is the center of the University’s extensive steam distribution system. More than a mile of tunnels house the steam pipes and condensate return system, as well as conduits for high voltage electrical lines and telecommunications cables. University Facilities staff members operate the plant around the clock.
