    1. Carole Weinstein International Center

The 57,000-square-foot Carole Weinstein International Center is a hub for the internationalization of the curriculum, and exploring and appreciating new cultures. The building features meeting space, programming venues, and an outdoor classroom, as well as Passport Café, which offers internationally-inspired cuisine. The courtyard serves as a gathering point and a reminder of the global outlook that is at the center of the Richmond experience.

The Weinstein Center houses the Center for Global Engagement, which assists both international students and those seeking to study abroad. Other academic departments in the center include Latin American, Latino, and Iberian studies; Languages, Literatures, and Cultures; American Studies; the Global Studies Program; the Environmental Studies Program; and the Film Studies Program.

The Department of Geography and the Environment also is located in the building, including the University's Spatial Analysis Lab, a research collaboration space equipped with Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), and Remote Sensing (RS) technology.
