      1. Jeannette Rankin Hall

        Jeannette Rankin Hall houses faculty offices and several classrooms in Rankin Hall. 

        Jeannette Rankin was a 1902 graduate of UM. She was a social worker and suffragist. Jeannette was the first woman elected to U.S. Congress in 1916 and was re-elected in 1940. She was the only member of Congress to vote against the United States' entry into both world wars.

        Accessible Entrances: The accessible entrance to the building is located on the southwest corner. This entrance consists of a ramp that leads to the basement of the building. The entrance door is automatic.

        Elevators: None.

        Accessible Restrooms: Women's: located in southeast corner of basement. Men's: None

        Parking: Closest accessible parking is located behind the Eck Liberal Arts Building and in the parking between the Social Science and Fine Arts Buildings.

        Barriers: No access to upper levels.
