The Oldenborg Center for Modern Languages and International Relations is a multipurpose building: it is a dining hall, residence hall and programming center focused around foreign language immersion and internationally focused lectures and programming, including the Oldenborg Luncheon Colloquium series.
About 140 students live in Oldenborg in language sections for Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, directed by graduate student language residents who are native speakers of their languages.
Oldenborg is also home to the Office of International Student Services. This office provides services to international students related to their immigration status in the United States.
