The University Center is UM's student union. It is a place for students to study, discover diversity, enjoy entertainment and feel at home away from home.
The UC offers myriad convenient services including an art gallery, study lounge, game room, conferencing services, shipping and mail center, bank and ATMs, copy center, hair salon, the UM Bookstore, the UC Market, food court, food pantry and Griz Card Center.
The University Center Ballroom (aka the UC Ballroom) is located on the third floor.
Accessibility
Accessible Entrances: There are three entrances to this three-story building. There are stairways at all entrances. On the north and south side stairs extend to all levels. Accessible entrances are on the north and west sides. At both entrances both the exterior and interior vestibule doors are automatic.
The Bookstore is located in the northeast corner of the UC. The bookstore has an additional entrance on the north side of the building. This entrance is accessible but only unlocked during store hours. The entrance is equipped with automatic doors and provides and ramp to the main floor of the bookstore.
Elevator: An elevator is located in the atrium and provides access to all floors.
Areas of Rescue Assistance: Areas of rescue assistance are located on the exterior stairway landings on the upper floors.
Accessible Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on all floors of the University Center.
Parking: Closest accessible parking is located in north University Center lot.
