      1. Gilkey Building: Admissions

        The Harold and Priscilla Gilkey Building houses UM's office of Admissions and Enrollment and the UM Foundation.

        The Admissions and Enrollment office provides prospective students and their families with information about UM's world-class academics, vibrant campus life and robust career-readiness training. Visitors arriving for campus tours can find ample parking in front of the Gilkey Building and check-in with the Admissions office just inside the building's front doors.

        Since 1950, the University of Montana Foundation has delivered on its mission to inspire philanthropic support to enhance excellence and opportunity at UM. The UM Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization that serves UM by managing private fundraising efforts, donations and investment of endowed gifts.

        Accessibility
        Accessible Entrance: The main entrance to the Gilkey Building is located on the east side of the building and is accessible. There is a bank of four exterior doors and four interior doors. The far left exterior and interior doors are equipped with automatic door openers.

        Accessible Elevator: There is an accessible elevator located just past the front desk and to the right. The elevator provides access to the garden level and the main level.

        The elevator also serves the second floor of the building, but key access is required to open the elevator doors on that floor. The second floor houses the UM Foundation. To access the second floor, call the UM Foundation at 406-243-2593.

        Fire Sprinklers: Fully sprinkled.

        Accessible restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on all floors of the Gilkey Building. 

        Parking: Accessible parking is available in Parking Lot S directly east of the Gilkey Building.
