      1. Urey Lecture Hall

        The Urey Lecture Hall is UM's largest lecture hall. This underground structure is named for UM’s first Nobel Laureate, Harold C. Urey. In 2020 the lecture hall extensive renovations that included carpet to cover the existing concrete floor, new upholstered seats and improvements to the acoustics, energy-efficient lighting and a state-of-the-art audio-video system. It seats 400. 

        Accessibility
        Accessible Entrance: The entry to Urey Lecture Hall is located in the center of the courtyard and is equipped with automatic doors on both the east and west sides.

        Elevator: The elevator is located in the entry. Elevator provides access to Urey Lecture Hall as well as the North Underground Lecture Hall. Stairway is also located in this area.

        Accessible Restrooms: None

        Parking: The closest accessible parking is located in Lot D between the Forestry Building and Stone Hall.

        Barriers: The only locations for wheelchair seating are the entrance landings at the doorways.
