    1. Elizabeth Turk—Suspended Meditation

      Earth

Inspired by Harold Edgerton’s images of the world’s first atomic explosions, this limestone sculpture emerges from erosion caused by wind, water, and the artist's intentional carving. These contrasting acts shape a form of disruption that serves as a catalyst for meditation.

      Reflection

The infinity pool’s clear reflection emphasizes the stone's suspension and an omnipresent force of gravity, and thus, a dialogue with the unseen natural world and reality’s confusions.

      Illumination

The brilliance of human intellect is a multifaceted force, driving artistic, scientific, and spiritual endeavors. Yet, it is also humbling, because of the potential immersion in the consequences of its creations.
