Denison Library opened in 1931, quickly becoming integral to generations of students’ educational experiences. Designed by the first campus architect, Gordon Kaufmann, the building’s central stained glass Gutenberg window —celebrating the development of learning through the written word—and its beautiful, hand-carved wood interiors combine to create an environment that encourages learning and reflection.
