      First Year Experience Program (FYE)

      Working with General Counseling, the Library, APSS Division enhances student success through the First Year Experience (FYE) Program, the “Front Door” for Chabot’s Pathways Programs. 

      FYE provides you, the student, the benefits of:

      • Handpicked class schedules
      • Academic support from peer advisors, faculty mentors and classified professionals

      Career Pathways Trust Grant

      Through the Career Pathways Trust Grant, Chabot College collaborates with K-12 education and industry partners to align pathways in the areas of:

      • Advanced Manufacturing
      • Engineering
      • Information Communication Studies
      • Digital Media
      • Law, Public Service
      • Health and Biosciences.

      Students benefit by gaining technical skills, knowledge and experience through certificate programs, degree programs, as well as work-based learning opportunities, in a variety of related pathway programs.
