Leyendecker Plant Science Research Center Property
Established in 1969, Leyendecker Plant Science Research Center conducts large-scale testing of crops relevant to the Mesilla Valley. This ASC works collaboratively with the Fabian Garcia Research Center to provide field Center research facilities for on-campus researchers (neither facility alone is sufficient to accommodate all of the on-campus faculty.) Its proximity to main campus provides another outdoor living classroom for integrated teaching, research, and Extension demonstrations. This ASC spans over about 217 acres of NMSU-owned property.
