Rafferty Stadium serves as a premier athletic facility with a seating capacity of 3,500. The stadium is equipped with a video board and a state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface, all funded through the generous contributions of Fairfield alumni, parents, and friends.
The ground level features comprehensive amenities including a box office, a spacious entry plaza, two team rooms, concession stands, and restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for all attendees.
On the terrace level, visitors will find a fully enclosed press box that includes a large media suite, two VIP suites for exclusive viewing experiences, and a video production suite to facilitate high-quality broadcasting of events.
Rafferty Stadium is not only home to Fairfield men's and women's lacrosse but also hosts Fairfield Prep football, soccer, lacrosse, and various intramural and club sports programs, making it a central hub for athletic activity within the university community.
The stadium bears the name of Larry Rafferty ’64 and his family, who made a significant leadership gift to the project. The field itself is named Conway Field in honor of Tim Conway ’76 and his family's generous contribution, highlighting the commitment of alumni to enhancing the university's athletic facilities.
