The Las Cruces Convention Center opened in early 2011 after many years of City planning and collaboration with New Mexico State University bringing a State of the Art Facility to the City of Las Cruces thus enriching the community and presenting a Venue capable of hosting a multitude of Events. When first completed in 2011 it offered over 26,300 square feet of meeting space, 8,000 square feet of pre-function space as well as over 6,000 square feet of outdoor space available for events. It was expanded in late 2019 and now totaling over 51,000 square feet.
