      1. Young Hall

This building was built in 1928, and named after R. L Young-- prominent lawyer in Las Cruces for many
years. Young Hall started off as the location of a new library. This library was once again moved to Branson Hall in 1952. The building was remodeled in 1953 and taken over by the English Department in 1958. By 1982 it was renovated and the Military Science and Aerospace Department moved in. It is currently still home to the Department of Military Science and the Army ROTC program on campus.
