      1. O'Donnell Hall

This building was constructed in 1968 for the College of Education and named for William B. O’Donnell. O’Donnell was a former professor, dean of students, and dean of the College of Education. He was also Vice President of the University from 1959 to 1968.The project was authorized in 1966 and work was completed in 1968. In 1977 the university had to save the building from “sinking”. On Sunday, December 12 1999, the building had a fire on the second floor that burned that floor and covered the rest of the building with soot. The College of Education was able to return to its home in May of 2000.
