      1. Dove Hall

Dove Hall was named for Claude C. Dove who came to NMSU in 1935 as the first professor of Education and Psychology from 1935 to 1963. He was professor emeritus from 1963 to 1979.
There is also a street named for him in Las Cruces. Completed in 1939 as a Works Project Administration (WPA) project, Dove Hall is now home to the New Mexico State University Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to secure, manage, and invest private gifts for the benefit of NMSU's teaching, research, extension education and public service programs.
