Walden Hall, to the west of the Astronomy Building, was built in 1966. It was named after Earl Walden, the University's first Dean of the Graduate School. The building was constructed over the old site of the radio station KNMA. It currently houses the Mathematics Department, and is the location of the Math Success Center.
