Gerald Thomas is home to the College of Agriculture, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences. It was built in 1963. Gerald Thomas Hall was designed by Wolgamood and Millington Architects. The hall was named for Gerald Thomas, former NMSU President from 1970 through 1984. In addition to classrooms, laboratories and faculty offices, Gerald Thomas is also home to the Chile Pepper Institute, which can be found in room 265.
