Memorial Tower was built where the Health and Social Services is now, and is in fact partially incorporated into the current building. President Milton requested that a tower be built to commemorate the war dead, and by early 1951, it was completed. Once the Aggie Memorial Stadium, the current location for football events, was completed in 1978, the third, fourth, and fifth floors were abandoned and the bottom two became a snack room and dining area. The Health and Social Services building was completed in 2003.
