      1. Jesse Hall

        Jesse Hall is an 11-story high-rise residence hall located on the west edge of campus. The L-shaped floors are occupied by approximately 40 students and an elevator provides easy access to all floors. Jesse Hall also offers a community kitchen on the large 11th floor social lounge for residents.

        Built in 1967, it is named for Dr. Richard H. Jesse, a stickler for academic success and UM's first dean of men. 

        Accessibility

        Accessible Entrance: The accessible entrances to Jesse Hall are located on the east and south sides of the building.


        Elevator: Elevators are located to the left after entering at the south entrance.

        Fire Sprinklers: Fully sprinkled

        Areas of Rescue Assistance: The building is fully sprinkled.

        Accessible Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on the first floor. This restroom is kept locked and is restricted to resident use only.

        Parking: Parking is provided in Lot J, which is located to the south of Jesse between the dormitory and the University Center.

        Barriers: This building does not provided accessible restrooms above the first floor.
