      Building ID: 1072 | Abbreviation: HR Home To: Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Mechanical Engineering The first floor contains the success space for engineering student projects and the UA 3-D Printing Lab. Classrooms, labs, and a break room with vending machines are also on the first floor. The second floor contains the offices for the Cooperative Education and Professional Practice Program, the Engineering Academic Advising Center, Engineering Student Services along with faculty offices, classrooms and a student lounge. Hardaway Hall also has a water tunnel facility and a wind tunnel lab, containing a supersonic wind tunnel (Mach 2) and a new sub-sonic wind tunnel. The James Massey Hire Jr. and Mildred Ray Hire Design Clinic Laboratory are also located in the building. Hardaway Hall, which was completed in 1936, is named for Col. Robert A. Hardaway who became the university's first full-time civil engineering professor in 1882. To report a facility issue please submit a work order.
