Kreitzberg Library is a central academic resource supporting all Norwich students across disciplines. This multi-level facility offers a wide range of study environments—from quiet individual spaces to collaborative group rooms—along with access to extensive print and digital resources. It’s a place designed to support both focused study and campus connection.
Beyond research materials, the library houses key student support services, including the Academic Achievement Center and Student Counseling and Psychological Services. Students can access tutoring, academic coaching, and wellness resources all in one place. With flexible workspaces, an electronic classroom, and areas for cultural events, the library adapts to the many ways students learn and engage.
History: Opened in 1993, Kreitzberg Library is named in honor of Fred ’57 and Barbara Kreitzberg. Fred Kreitzberg served as chairman of the Norwich University Board of Trustees and played a significant role in supporting the university’s continued growth and academic mission.
